Peace to All creatures great and small............................................

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I know that isn't from ireland, cos no one from ireland would refer to the US as the colonies. We were a colony too, remember?
We know, it's basically a twist on an old (Nov 2000) ENGLISH one with the following editted out:
  • Mr. Gates, there is no such thing as "US English"; so spell your words correctly ("aluminium" not "aluminum"; colour, honour, ...;...)
  • Stop calling it "football"; call it "rugby" or "rugger" and play it properly--WITHOUT the 90 kg of kevlar and bakelite armour. What you call "soccer" is correctly/aptly called "football"

Ha! I knew it. Of course people from Ireland call Soccer 'Soccer'. Football is Gaelic football. If you ask someone if they want to play football in Ireland you would be asked 'soccer or gaelic?'

I forgive you. I was just about to post a picture of Borat. But you got me on a good day! :star:

The first time I heard this joke the person was from Belgium. I have heard variations where the person is Norwegian and German.

I think the original person who posted this question was an overeight, middle aged American with an am talk radio show.
