hi, this is neetu, rajee's wife. May be some of u know him. My husband is the regular member of this site . yesterday, 16july i had my interview. It was an easy going interview.

i reached there at 6:30 but they started the entry at 7:15.

first step : I was told to queue up where they took my finger printes around 7:20, then the interviewer told me to provide him with one pic which he matched with the photo of DS-230 form and then he returned me the photo . They did not ask for the photo as my husband rajee had already submitted my photos at NVC (U.S.A)and then i was told to wait.

second step: I was called for the first round of interview around 8:15 where the interviewer asked me the following questions - who is calling u to US?, what is ur husband doing? , what r u doing?, where is ur local police station report(which i didn't require to subimt as i have a newly issued passoprt). The interviewer was a joival person, so he smiled and didn't ask me anymore questions and returned me the orgianls which we submitted at NVC and then again i was told to wait.

third step : I was called for the second and the last round of the interview around 9:30 and the interviewer told me to pledge and told me to sign DS-230 form . He asked me the following questions- when and where did u meet ur husband?, how many people attended the wedding?, how many relatives came from US?, have u evry visted aborad and when, was it an arrange or love marriage.

My husband already submitted all the proofs at NVC, so the interview was vey basic and genral and they didn't see my marrige pics or other proofs. They didn't ask for any photocopies also.

pls feel free to ask any questions.

Hey neetu,

how you doing? thanks for the details of the interview. can you tell me your experiance with the medical exam and VFS?

do they ask for interview letter?

Rajee is one of the daily poster and he is really helpfull..

Congratzz to you both.

Hi Roza,

Thks for helping us . My medical examination was very simple. Firstly she told me to fill the form and then measured my weight .The doc asked me few questions about my husband and examined me physically. Then she gave me 3 vaccinations. she told me only 3 vaccinations r important for me as i am above 18 years. She only gave me MMR, Tdap and varicella. Rest of the vaccinations r not required. I can also take another Varicella vaccinations after 6 months in US if required.

VFS people were very kind to me. They asked me to submit two photos and a photocopy of my passport. Then she asked me to deposit 365 VFS courier fee and pasted a number at the back side of my passoprt. They didn't ask me any questions . neetu

Hello Neetu,

First of all a hearty congratulations to you and Rajee for completing your whole process and so smoothly. We have applied for K3 and got my NOA2 recently. I would also be dealing with New Delhi consulate. As you just know gave the discription of your medical, I want to know some more details of it. Like;

1. which doctor conducted your medical?

2.How many days it took place? (one or two)

3.What did they did in day one and day two respectively?

4. Do we need to show our records of any vaccinations taken earlier?

5. What are the documents needed for medical?

6. Finally how we know the date of medical?

Sorry for asking too many question. But I am asking this from you because you have gone through all this and so we take valuable information from you.

Thanks in advance
