Four months ago, I posted that it was the end of the road for our K1 journey upon learning that I have an existing marriage recorded at NSO. I filed a case and just today, the decision came out...."wherefore, premises considered, the Certificate of Marriage between blah blah and blah blah is hereby declared NULL AND VOID ab initio." Meaning- it never legally existed. Ahhhh!!! Words so sweet! I keep on reading and reading that line. I don't know what is in store for now, but I would like to thank my fiancee for believing me, staying with me and loving me more during this trial. God is good... and Im thankful that he made me strong to overcome the depression I had for the past months. I guess it really should be one problem at a time... I cant believe this problem is over...

Thank you to those who sent me messages... those who encouraged me to be strong... you know who you are.

Thats a wonderful news Ria, finally this unwelcomed problem has resolved.

Do u have to go to k1 process all over again?why is that?

God bless you both!

No, Im pushing thru with my interview. If its meant to be, then I will be the happiest person. If not, then I would like to think that God has better plans. I am stubborn as I know that I have been nothing but a good person who has honest intentions. But I have to admit that Im so tired already. This journey has been so emotionally draining. I want to stop forcing the issue but I will still give it a shot.

Hi there Ria,

First of all Im so happy that ur problem is solved.Btw,I saw ur timeline and u got NOA2 March 18,2008 and its valid for 4months.You dont need to start all over again.Your fiancee can call the USEM and tell them that he wants to extend the approval. They will renew it automatically...but ur fiancee have to fax a letter saying that He still want to marry you and continue ur visa application.

My fiancee is going to do that bcoz we got NOA2 April 11 and we decided to schedule my interview late bcoz we was preparing for our daughter's CRBA so finally we already submitted it and got an appointment for our daughter on the 24th.And we plan to have K1 interview by 1st week of September so thats why he called USEM and spoke to Lorraine and she told my fiancee to fax a letter of extension and call again to confirm if they got it then they will renew our NOA2 again for another 4months.

Hope this helps.God Bless!
