Thanks guys... I'll try to answer some questions:

No he cant go to their depot because its a security risk. No one can no where the depot is because of the classified documents that go thru there (which makes sense on a normal day I suppose but today is bs to me lol). Anyway we found out that the courier has the visa in hand. However he is presently in Northhampton which is about 100 miles from where Crash is. So we still "patiently" waiting to see if they will be able to deliver it to him today. If yes then he still will be able to drive to his dads in Sussex where he was planning on spending the night before going to Heathrow.

They are flying on Air India which had the cheapest direct flight to JFK. Thankfully a friend in my office building has a niece that works for them in Heathrow and gave us her number. Once Crash has a better idea about the visa situation he will call her and see if she might be able to put them on a flight for Thursday without extra cost or at a cheap cost or something. At least we have a contact with the airline if we need it and not just some customer service person.

I do appreciate all the good thoughts guys and yes I know that in a weeks time or even by this weekend when we holding each other none of this will matter. Its just sooo hard at the moment not knowing whats going on. Like we at the mercy of everyone else.

As for stress.. we both f'd up. I feel like everything I say to him is the wrong thing right now and I feel so useless not being able to do anything. I just want to cry. Have no clue how I'm getting any work done. Speaking of which theres the boss who wants me...

Why cry? Look at how many people are still apart from their honeys with no end in sight. You are one of the lucky ones! Worst case scenario, you'll see him in two days' time. Surely that's nowt to cry over?

You are right Lisa I know you are.. and believe me I hate sounding like an ungrateful child not getting her way when everyone else on these forums is waiting and waiting.. Yes we are closer than ever before to being together forever and if we have to wait one extra day then so be it. I waited forever for my man and hes worth it. Its just so frustrating that we have no control over the situation you know? Thats whats so aggrevating. From a frackin mistake by the embassy which took them almost a week to correct to waiting on a courier.. We just want control of our lives already.

But I digress... Lisa is right and I apologize if I am insulting anyone on this site by sounding pitiful (and no Lisa I know you didn't say that so don't worry LOL). But all the same, I'm sure everyone can understand my/our frustration at being soooo close and yet not.

Crash has called the airline and can change the tickets to Thursday so if it has to be Thursday then so be it. I'm rambling again arent I? Sorry... Have I mentioned I hate waiting?

so to update u all... it seems as though the visa WILL NOT be delivered today.. in fact we are waiting for 630 UK time to find out where the heck it is at all... the manager of SRS is waiting to hear from the Northhampton Depot (whatever the heck that means)... so its not looking good for Thursday either

Seems like they could care less(and I'm sure they don't) about how long of a process you've ALREADY been through to get to this point..and now they're just gonna hold it there because they have so many other pressing matters!??Sheesh, I'd be upset too. As one of those who is "patiently' awaiting word, there's no reason to apologize. I haven't been waiting as long as most and I'm already going insane, but at least he will be here for a 4-week visit in 5 days, 23 hours, and 10 minutes.... I'm going to apologize in advance for my posting in 4 weeks, 6 days... I'll be whining that he's gone with no way to know exactly when we're going to see each other again...

sorry i took so long to post an update but frackin boss wants work and i had to rant on the thread about 9/11 again.. god please stop me from doing that it aggrevates me so much...

anyway.. thanks again for all the encouragement you guys it really does help so much... you can't imagine

so heres where we are: the frackin courier service says that his package is in 1 of the 30 depots they have (go explain that one to me) and will know by late tonight/tomorrow morning where exactly (glad they value all those passports and visa packages) and when it will be delivered to Crash.

in the meantime he's called air india and now another person said he has to rebook through the travel agent so the travel agent's checking on the flights and if possible will book him for friday and have tickets waiting at heathrow for pickup... but we don't know if Crash has to buy new tickets or just change the ones he has..

god i am sooo ready to scream already......

Good heavens... this is a courier company??? Why don't you call the Embassy and let them know too... after all they are the ones who have given them Cash's passport. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this... and really you don't need to apologise... I think each one of us can identify with the frustration you feel. Hang in there love
