Working on K-1 visa

Timeline

Marilu entered the USA in Miami. She asked at the POE about working while she is here. She was told that she must be married before she can work. I didn't research yet, but I thought you only had to ask for permission to work at the POE.

work authorization is only for 90 days on K-1. Most find it difficult to find work due to the short nature of the authorization. Once you are married you apply for AOS/EAD/AP. Once approved she can work.
