Sinus infection. I am taking antibiotics, but they make me feel even sicker.

Plus I have my ex-Melbourne housemate and his kiwi gf coming over for the weekend and I really don't feel like it. They lived in London for two years and are now moving back to Melbourne, so last chance to see them before they head off. And I can't even have a drink with them. Plus I still need to make my apartment look pretty and don't really feel like it.

Plus I had sent my waiver to the Frankfurt consulate, because some immigration lady had told Pedro on the phone, that I should not send it to Kentucky, but to Frankfurt. So I type a friendly letter, enclose a copy of my passport and the waiver and sent it. And they just send it back to be with an ugly copy from some website, saying I need to send it to Kentucky. Bastards! Then Pedro calls them again and they say - no worries, just keep the waiver and tell POE the story and no problem. I am sure, if we call again, we get a third version. Thing is, I am leaving in 28 days. I don't want to get locked up in a detention center for night and then get sent home.

I am not a very happy squirrel today. :( Neither bacon nor tacos can solve this.

orale (ahem whoa!)

for sinus infection... fix yourself some coffee. then add some alcohol to it. any kind will do.

for the paperwork... just carry all of the paperwork and dress americun. you will have no problem passing through. just leave the kiwis at home.

How about a bacon taco?? :hopeful:

Don't know if this will relieve you fears/ worries. My best friend didn't get put into detention. She just had to wait round for an hour and a half. Turns out the problem could have been solved in 15mins but they forgot her b/c they were all excited about someone suspected of smuggling drugs.

Coffee with any kind of alcohol? Hmmm...I am tempted, I have a bottle of Osbourne Veterano in my kitchen. Then drink it? Or snort it?

As for dressing American...I need further instructions. Oversized track suit...with a fanny pack and a baseball hat? Something like that? Dammit, I should have gotten that Rudi Gulliani for President shirt of that 50% off rack in DC.

Congrats on the three years Daniel! BTW, I see you log in and out of yahoo IM almost every day. Next time I see you, I will actually say hello.
