baked potato with sour cream and bacon

doesn't like sour cream

are you guys seeing a trend?

most of the time I just cook whatever I want and then if he doesn't want it then he can have something frozen

How in the world, as a chef, did you end up with such a picky eater? My first husband was that way. It used to drive me crazy. Now Javi will eat anything. I never have to worry about what to cook because I know he'll eat whatever I sit on the table.

he calls my food poncy and stuck up

I think he was ruined by his mother's cooking. she did stuff like make fried carrots, burnt eggs (oh yeah he won't eat eggs either), meat cooked so long it's dry and chwey, and any food that is creamy he won't eat either because of her.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

Cooking in my house can be difficult at times. Hubby is a vegetarian, there are only so many creative vegetarian dinners I can think of. I try to find new(easy) recipes sometimes.

falafel! make him some falafel!

I've made that. Getting them to stay as a patty and not fall apart while frying is annoying. He does like it a lot though, even if it all fell apart, lol. I like it too.

you can broil them in the oven to make them less fatty

Hubby didn't eat egg at first, now he does thankfully. But eggwhites or egg beaters b/c he had high cholesterol(a vegetarian who doesn't eat a lot of dairy!). Unfortunately he also got diabetes(not overweight and not a really unhealthy eater! darn genetics) last fall, so he added eggs into his diet for more protein instead of so many carbs that he was eating like tons of rice and potatoes all the time. He needed more options as a vegetarian. So now I can make quiche which is fun and yummy.

Married since 9-18-04(All K1 visa & GC details in timeline.)

i make it different, because i don't use tomato sauce. so it's like ground beef with seasoning, garlic and onions in a nonstick pan until it's very crunchy.

well let's do it then

well, that's not entirely true. even though I like pretty much anything, I don't eat everything. like i avoid eating too much carbs, i avoid eating fried stuff, so it's like i can eat stuff but choose not to, you know what i mean?
