I've been discovering white hairs :( creeping into my part line. Then when I go looking they are all through. I know the old wives tales about plucking them out and three more appearing, but I don't care. They annoy me. My hair is too dark.

I also don't know what happened to my resolve to grow old gracefully. I think it disappeared when white wirey ####### hairs appeared on my head. No graceful, slightly greying, blending in, just pure white.

I had relished the fact I haven't "done" anything to my hair for so long the entire length was 'virgin'. Now I am feeling the need to colour. I also want to find some decent shampoo & conditioner that doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Amby what type of straightner did you go for? I'm lusting after a GHD.

Marilyn its a really nice rich colour you put through. Loving the cut by the way.

:lol: :lol: OMG! Could you imagine?!?!?! Actually at Los Arcos, just down the road from us, a lot of the waiters there do theirs blond. But it's never a good blond. It's always that orange-y blond because they didn't leave the bleach on long enough.
