So I am staying in Coventry this weekend. The weather seems to be permanently overcast but pleasant none the less.

Thinking I may go visit the home of Shakespeare at the weekend. Anyone have any suggestions for this part of the country?

DairyFarmer - when you say the home of Shakespeare, do you mean Stratford Upon Avon?

What about Warwick Castle? I've never been but I'd like to go - it looks pretty amazing!

Yep I meant Stratford Upon Avon.

Who lived at Warwick Castle? Might need to google.

The Earl of Warwick, traditionally. :)

I know it's one of the best surviving examples of a mediaeval castle.

ETA: Stratford Upon Avon is a really pretty little village. A huge tourist attraction, yes, but still definitely worth a visit!

OK cool. I have just checked nad it is on the bus route from Coventry to Stratford. Might need to take a detour.

just had a delicious fruit plate for breakfast we chopped yesterday... watermelon, jicama-or mexican turnip-, cactus fruit and mango... with chili powder salt and lime :dance::dance:

friday at last!! ready for a 3 day weekend with Julia, gonna go watch the dark night, and have fun :D
