This Indian paperwork is annoying me. I am almost ready to send it but some questions I have about the application, I cannot find any answers anywhere.

indian consular forms were written by monkeys with adhd

and their websites too!

yup. they're the worst.

and not just consular, air india's site is still ####### but if you can believe it, it was sooooo much worse in the past.

That's awesome sister!!!!

Gawd, I didn't realize my nose was so big. I hope it's just the angle of the picture.

Julia: Don't worry about flooding. I didn't see any creeks near by while I was there. You'll probably be fine.

your nose ain't big. and look at them blue eyes!

That's a cat!! :bonk:

Your nose is not big at all, just the angle of the picture - I also don't look like I chop my fringe with garden scissors in real life!

Each consulate varies slightly on what they want and on the Houston consulate page(my jurisdiction) the FAQ doesn't help at all. I have done search after search on different websites but still don't find certain answers. I am probably over worrying.

poi/oci regs are set by new delhi.

find any consular page that explains it in terms you understand and go by that. don't sweat houston, they have to follow the same rules everyone else does.

You'd think that'd be true...

Sujeet was ranting about it on the phone. He said they are the dumbest country he's ever lived in. Well he's only lived in two. He was complaining about the fees too and how they won't take personal checks for payment. We have to get money order or cashier's check. He was complaining about every aspect. lol.

well ok.... But San Fran's site asks specifically for things that Houston doesn't, including a different fee amount, and some of the others do the same thing. One site I found for help said that certain things are different at San Fran and they won't take the same as what you'd send to the others.

OCI is processed in India, not PIO.

(btw Sujeet wasn't totally serious about the "dumbest" comment, just ranting haha)
