morning all...

how was your first day of class, booty?

It went ok. It was very overwhelming. I guess it's like this in all classes but I didn't realize it because I've been out of school so long, but he acted as if we all already knew most of what he was talking about. I'm very glad I bought the study guide for the class because I'm pretty sure I'm going to need it. While doing my homework last night I was getting pretty frustrated at myself. I hope my brain turns itself back on soon or I'm in trouble. :lol:

That's the biggest difference in my recollection between professors who are full-time and tenured and those who have full-time jobs in industry and only teach on the side. The former think you know it all already, because this is all they do. The latter tend to be better instructors, IMHO, if not as academically accomplished.
