Something for those who don't have babies yet or maybe do...please don't tell moms if their baby looks so big or too small unless they bring it up themselves.

It's become a pet peeve of mine. Kavi is not a really big chunky looking baby, he's long and leaner, but his weight is fine. And when I say his weight on a baby website I visit, I get comments like "Oh my gosh, he's only weighs that much at 6 months, haha my baby weighed that at 3 or 4 months!" as if bigger babies are better. A theme seems to be babies who weigh above avg(sometimes way above avg) are normal and those who are avg are not. Then other people I know have a baby who was 2 months pre-term when born and she is little for a 2 yr old now and Kavi weighs almost as much as she does! So they think Kavi is so big! He is right in the average weight category for his age. I just get annoyed about hearing ppl's baby opinions all the time. I try not to comment on another baby's size so the mom doesn't feel like I do when I hear it. I have learned not to comment on a lot of baby issues after having to hear it myself. It's a part of having a baby, I know, and a lot of people are nice even if they say those things, but it's annoying.

Well it seems people like it if they have bigger babies, I don't know. Kavi is not chunky so I don't like when people act as if he isn't big enough when he is normal weight for his age. And that is much easier on my back for carrying him around too, and he eats a little less so it doesn't cost as much. :P
