I agree the actors did a very convincing job, but the darkness of the film is what I didn't like.

I realized yesterday that there was a rotting eggplant on top of the refrigerator which had attracted a whole lot of fruit flies. I didn't put it there, I am assuming my wife inadvertently left it there a month ago (or more).

So I sprayed the fukcing thing with raid and then trashed it. But there were still flies everywhere.

Last night I put up glasses with vinegar all around the house, covered them up with saran wrap and poked holes in them. I found that on google.

This morning, each of the glasses had a lot of flies dead in it. I didn't run into any in the kitchen at all, which was nice.

Oh no, I have had fruit fly issues two times in our last house. There were a lot of orange trees in the backyard and that alone attracted a lot. And then having fruit out in the open in the house caused the problem.

It took a little while to get rid of them all. Good luck!! It is so annoying.

I did the vinegar thing. Get rid of any sweet food out of the fridge or put it in the fridge. Clean the kitchen well.

Oh-another thing that should help is to pour boiling water down the kitchen drains several times, and in the bathroom sink and tub too if you see any in there. The only thing that will kill the eggs is boiling water. Bleach, bug spray, etc supposedly do nothing to the eggs and that's the place you need to target so after the flies are all dead, more don't hatch. That would help the problem go away faster.

They are attracted to lay eggs where there may be old food, like stuck in a kitchen drain.

Not sure. Either my wife left it there and forgot to put it back in the fridge or her cousin (who stayed here for a week while she was gone) put it there.
