Honestly no one should feel "bad" or whatever...I mean if we have to read about ppl getting drunk and stuff then we can also talk about how we don't like getting drunk ourselves. :P

Agreed! I am seriously not judging you though (but I guess you know that already :P )

I know

Marilyn, maybe you need to do a little dance? Turn up some loud music and dance around like a fool. That might snap you out of the blase feeling. You'll feel embarrassed instead.

I was supposed to get a bunch of stuff done but I kept not being able to, Kavi kept fighting his nap time. Then I was doing stuff with him and I got tired out myself so I just wanted to sit here after he fell asleep around 3:30. And now I have a bunch of things to do and I wanted to get it done by 5 and it's 4:15 almost. I hope Kavi's nap is long so I can do a lot while he's sleeping.

Ready to know more "prudish" stuff about me? Maybe it'd be shocking, probably not. I have never been drunk. (I have never been high either). Never had a cig. To be honest getting drunk looks really dumb to me, and people act horrible or make dumb decisions when they are drunk. It's never looked appealing to me.

You aren't a prude because you just described me. I've never been drunk, never tried drugs, never smoked. I also think people are stupid when they get drunk. I've witnessed drunk behavior before and I hate being around it. When I drink I have one beer and that's it. I like having control over my person too much. I just think being drunk would not allow me to do that.

I don't think it's being prude, either. I'm the complete opposite, but i think it has more to do with the way you're raised, alcohol + family, alcohol + friends and choices.

We (kids) started real early. It was completely normal for 14 year old kids to drink, without adults knowing, of course.

We'd buy wine, vodka (mix with other stuff, like pepsi), beer, etc. and drink it to get drunk, because it was fun. There would be only one or another kid that wouldn't do the same, and they were labeled losers.

It was a weekend thing. I was an ''9'' student (we don't have A grade system, it's 6.0, 6.5 ... 9.0, 9.5, 10. ). I've never flunked any class in my life. Not even close. But on weekends I'd have fun and yes, that included binge drinking.

When you grow up, you realise that it's not fun anymore to drink to get drunk. It becomes ridiculous.

I quit drinking most of the things I used to drink in order to get drunk, like plain whiskey, etc. I pretty much only drink wine and beer, because I absolutely love the taste of it. I don't drink any other thing that tastes nasty like I used to.

when I babysat I used to do this dance I named the macaroni dance.. I would take a box of mac and cheese and dance around shaking the box, the kids thought it was so funny and would laugh...

I did the dance on a tape I made for my hubby when we hadn't even met yet. because I had told him about it and he wanted to see it.. I don't think I have ever done it for him live yet though .. I'm too embarrassed.. it is weird because I never felt embarrassed when I did it in front of the kids....

I love doing stuff like that with kids. It's good you sent your hubby the video...if he couldn't accept the macaroni dance you would have known he wasn't the one. ;) j/k

We do crowning ceremonies for our friends' little girls. Oh they are so weird(the ceremonies). We do very funny looking things for entertainment. But the kids love it so that's what I think matters. I was entertained this way as a kid and I loved it.

have any of you had someone cook you a meal and then when you tasted it it was disgusting? my friend made a nice roast for lunch and it smelled lovely but when I took a bite it tasted like dirt. it was like she didn't wash the veggies she cooked with it. I felt bad and i didn't want to hurt her feelings since she hardly ever cooks. I just moved my food around the plate and struggled to eat a small amount of it.

Yeah that's happened...I try to eat some of it anyway too. Now I also try a different mindset in those situations. It sounds crazy but it works for me. I picture the nasty stuff they have had to eat on Survivor or that show that was on Fear Factor, and it makes what I am eating more bearable and I pretend I just have to eat it or else.

I don't have to cook yay, Suj is bringing home taco bell. I know, not such great food but I don't feel like cooking and they have a cheap value menu.

I'm trying to decide what to make for dinner. I hate figuring out what to make when I went to the grocery store on the same day because I have all this stuff I want to eat and I can't decide on just one thing :P
