it seems they want someone with more book smarts that can tutor their kids.. like teach them extra stuff besides their homework... it did say in their ad they were looking for someone with some college education which I don't have...

Sounds like you may not be a good fit for the job anyway. I am sure you will find a position soon where the requirements better fit your qualifications. Good luck!

yeah I kind of felt like that too at the interview...

I am just a simple quiet person that would take great care of someone's kids.. kids usually love me...

Marilyn have you ever considered taking some college courses at a community college or something? That might help you find a job easier.

704 for 15 months is about right for membership at a good gym, not the place where the hoodrats hang out.

It's the cheapest one. The one on the other side of the highway is almost $1000 for 15 months and the only thing they have different is a lap pool.

I'd rather stay on the side of the road closest to my house because I don't have to go through any stop lights to get there or back.

Sorry to be intrusive, but google didn't really help me. If my IR-1 visa goes well then I will be moving to the same city, Evansville and I really don't want to be dependent on my husband with financial needs (yes I got too much ego) anyways, I know I won't be getting a job as soon as I land, so I am counting 3 months or so in hand, and I would like to join any decent gym, google only showed me some Bob's gym.

Anyways what I want to know is, can you pay monthly rather than giving out that $704 at one go? and if its monthly than how much it usually is?

Oh my God my husband just call NVC and we heard the magic words: CASE COMPLETED!!!!

And the operator told us that for sure we will get and interview for September...
