i'll try to wash, use the serum while wet, let it dry some and then straighten, just to see what happens.

What kind of straightener are you using?

hey u girls that use hair straightener, how do u do it? do u use any products? do you do it while wet, damp or dry?

i've read about applying straightening spray or a type of cream to the hair when dry. How about using that serum before straightening?

i'm a noob when it comes to this. I've never needed to straighten my hair, but now that's so extremely long the tips get quite not straight :P

balm before it dries. I let it air dry because I have so much hair so it takes too long to blow dry. I use heat protectant spray as I straighten and then finish with some frizz cream so it stays tame.

I have a CHI as well and I love it! My other straightener took me an hour to straighten. With the CHI it takes me 30 minutes!

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

I don't know what kind of stuffs you use, but for the last year i have been on a Redken kick and my hair has never been better. The Chi Serum broke my hair off.

I use my CHI flat iron too - and (L) it! It takes no time to heat up - and makes my hair super sleek straight.

While my hair is wet, I spray in some S Factor Flat Iron Shine Spray. Then blow dry my hair upside down for extra volume. Use my round brush for that.

Then - flat iron my hair. Use clips to keep the upper sections up - do your back sections first. Then do your top sections (I dunno just what the hair dresser says). Do the bangs last. Once straight - I use some CHI Silk Infusion, dime size amount to add more shine and cure any fly aways.

Did I mention that I LOVE my CHI :P

Oh and - don't use it on wet hair - it seriously fries your ends.
