HI ALL

I read lot posts about taking copies of the orginal civil documents and I-864 , DS-230 etc.. to the interviews, if the originals are allready submitted to the NVC , because NVC is resposible for collecting such documents for the consulate, and the NVC gone forward all of the file to the consulate, is't really necessary to take copies to the interview ? OR PEOPLE BEING EXTRA CAUTIOUS.

You should always make copies of any documentation you submit and yes, things can happen and documents can get lost. It's best to have them with you at the interview.

P.S. I love the budgies in your avatar. Had them as pets when I was a kid.

They will most likely have every piece of document you sent the NVC with the I-864 and DS-230. However, things may get misplaced, or lost and you never know what else, so it's a good idea to make copies of what you've sent them just in case they're missing something the day of the interview.
