As you may be aware I am about to file DCF and I am just checking my I-130 form answers.

So on line 2 it asks for my address;

I wrote where I am living now in St Petersburg Russia with my wife. Would it be better if I wrote in my US address instead? I will be there in a few months but my wife will unfortunately still be here in St Petes at the address on the form. Because I am DCF, I don't want them to have any reason to think that I am not living in Russia. What do you think? Just leave the address as it is, my Russian residence?

OK now for the stupid part. I know this must have been posted before but the search function was not bringing anything up so forgive my stupidness (if that is a word) for doing it again.

Line 17 Information About Your Relative:

I am filing for my wife and she has no kids etc, and since i am her husband I should write my own name on line 17 right? Or am I confused again? Seems weird! Please help, I want to send this off soon as possible.

So I put my address here where I am in Russia with my wife.

After looking at your link I see another question.

On line 22, I now see it says, "If your relative is not eligible for adjustment of status, he or she will apply for a visa abroad at the American Consular Post in ..........."

Do I put in her local Consulate in Russia? Or leave it blank.

I originally didn't think that this question was applicable to her.

I found this contradictory advice given to someone in a similar situation to mine.

According to it I should write in my US address. However I do not know if it is for someone doing DCF or not. Any clarification would be appreciated, please.

I have been following your thread all morning, and now you have confused me. Are you not filling out the I-130? The link you found is for the G-325.

You should use your foreign address on all forms when starting DCF. You need US domicile, but that is different from your current address. It's important that you show that your current residence is in Russia.
