London medical prior to interview date

I am sure that I have read somewhere that you can make the appointment at the Knightsbridge clinic prior to receiving the notification from the Embassy of your interview date and that as long as you have your NVC case number it is acceptable. I presume that this can only be done once our case has left the NVC and is on its way to the Embassy??

Reason I ask is because we can do the medical and then carry on to Kent for the weekend to visit with my son and my youngest grandchild.

That's right!

My husband had his medical, way before we had an answer from the Embassy. They asked me for our case no. which I gave them, they also asked for an interview date and I said that we didn't have one yet, the girl was very helpful and she even let me choose date and time!

Hope it all goes well!!

Gavin is going for his medical in a week-it will be WAY before the interview, I think I read somewhere that the medical results are good for a while(as long as it wasn't done a year ago-you shoudl be fine).

Someone will correct me if I am wrong
