Good morning everybody. Thanks a lot for your responses. My fiancé and I are now in the process of getting the carta blanca. But let me tell you about the interview (July 9). He was waiting since 6. 30 am outside of the office. He was called around 8. 00 am to enter the building. He passed the two security checks. Make sure not to use any envelopes. We used clear folders to organized all the documents. Once in the building, he handled the forms plus part of the evidence. A Cuban lady told him to give her whatever he thinks will be more relevant. He gave her a copy of the package that I sent to immigration services when we opened the case and the photo album. We had around 80 pictures. After that, he was called for the interview. An American lady performed the interview. She was nice and very strict. My fiancé said that she was not friendly in the beginning. However, after looking at our pictures her attitude changed. She said that is was brilliant the way in which we organized all the evidence. Therefore we would like to advice you to make sure that everything is well organized. For example, we prepared separated folders for the official documents such as, police report, birth certificate, etc. On another folder we place some emails and letters. On a separated folder we put postcards, phone bills, and little things that we sent to each other thorough all these years. The interview was quick. My fiancé was told to come back the next day for his visa. He was out of the building by 11. 30 am. He went the following day to pick up his visa but they told him to come back on the 14. They were behind processing the passports. On the 14 he finally got his visa. Today he is going to request the carta blanca. Thanks again for all the support. I hope this comment would be helpful.

Congratulations again! I agree with the advice about not using any envelopes, they will make you throw them away; I guess the key is to use CLEAR folders or covers.

Sounds like you had the same interviewer as we did ... Osvaldo nicknamed her the 'Puta Flaca' (once we were safely off the premises)!

After receiving misinformation and generally getting an annoying run-around in the carta blanca processu, Osvaldo has about two steps left before getting clearance to go. With any luck he'll be on his way next week.

Good luck to Eduardo with the carta blanca, and keep us updated!
