Hi guys

My dear beloved had an appointment with immigration officer in Chicago Immigration Center. We wanted to get some clarifications about Affidavit of Support.

I've read here, on VJ website, about JFK being the only POE where I can ask the immigration officer to stamp Temporary Work Permit , when I get there.

Thus, he asked the clerk about POEs, if JFK is the only POE where they stamp Temporary Work Permit??? The woman was shocked, how the hell he knows about this unofficial fact? She didn't say Yes or No, but by her reaction, he understood this is YES. :innocent::innocent::innocent:

What do you know and think about all this???? :help:

You can ASK at any POE (or PFI), but JFK is the only air POE known for ISSUING these.

the stamp is not a work visa, its a temporary work permit that is valid as long as the I-94 is valid.......
