THANKS, EVERYONE! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S ALL DONEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are some more details on Neetu's interview (Times are in IST) ...

6:30am Arrival at Embassy (preceded by waking up, doing paath [prayers], and going to gurudwara [temple] before going to Embassy)

7:10am Went through security

7:30am Fingerprinting and Photomatching (they took a photo from Neetu and compared her face with that photo and with the photos for the DS-230 form)

8:30am First interview (15 minutes)

9:30am Second interview - This is where Neetu was asked to swear that everything on DS-230 is on true and to sign page 4 (10 minutes)

She told me that they didn't look at any pictures, email, or any other proof of any kind ...

The only piece of paper she had to show them was the interview letter in the beginning of the process ...

They otherwise just asked basic questions and Neetu said the first interviewer was very nice and jovial and that helped her remain calm :) ...

Here are most of the questions asked by the 2 interviewers over the course of the 20-25 minutes she spent with them (all quite basic) - the order may be mixed up but the important thing is the content of the questions:

Have you ever traveled abroad?

Where did you go?

When was this?

What was the purpose of the trip?

How did you meet your husband?

Where did you first meet?

You applied for a tourist visa - what happened? (Denied)

Do you know why your tourist visa was denied? (Neetu answered because she was still single and due to her income - the interviewer just said "Oh, this was before marriage? Okay...")

Was the marriage arranged or "love"?

Did your in laws attend the marriage?

Did your husband's sibling attend the wedding?

How many people attended the wedding?

What does your husband do in the USA?

Where does he live?

Neetu told me there were 4 counters for IV candidates and they had a separate seating area for them to wait - their names were announced one by one and they were asked to proceed to interview windows in that manner. (Non IV had to stand in line and just basically wait.)

So she was in the embassy around 7 or 7:10 am and was OUT by 9:45 with approval!!!

She was NOT given the brown packet and went back to ask - she was told that this would be couriered or given to her at VFS if she chooses to pick up the passport.

She called VFS and verified the same :) ...
