I was once woken by someone stroking my ankle :creep alert: :semi minor freakout:

I can't see it. Damn work computer blocker. Someone tell me please???

It's a scene from the movie "Road Trip" where Amy Smart (hubba hubba) gets her foot licked by a pervert on the bus.

Ugghh. Total freakout for sure. And that is exactly at I envision when in a layover or flight cancellation.

Today you could report him to Homeland Security. He'd be in Gitmo before lunch.

I had to sleep over in Chicago after missing my connecting flight due to tornadoes. Ugh! There were too many of us for me to be able to find a chair or even a warm spot - I eventually opted for the cold, hard floor, and despite the draught I did actually manage to fall asleep for a couple of hours. Having a tent on-hand would've been wonderful!

 I've had that experience in Salt Lake City (connexion), as well as in Atlanta (ironically, not a connexion but START--due to thunderstorm-delay chaos). Canadian Airports (and Heathrow in London) have usually banks of armless chairs where one can sleep--which in US airports, I've only seen in Cincinnati.

Ummm...I don't really know what to say. Helllll to the no, comes to mind though.
Eh, you been through Heathrow (mid-stop on trips to/from Pakistan)? It beats sleeping across the chairs there.

I had to make an emergency landing in a very small unattended airport with a small private plane that had a rough running engine at 1:00 am. it was a cold november night in the northest and I was coming home from atlantic city after loseing a few bucks. found an unlocked car with the keys in it and stayed warm till the sun came up. sleeping in a tent (indoors) is a piece of cake!!

I would show up at the airport and start renting them to others, could be profitable, ya never know

Oh yeah? I got stuck at the Arctic Circle once. I had to kill my horse, hollow it out and sleep in it!

On a serious note, after 6 years in the Army I can assure you that I have no problem stretching out on the floor of an Airport. With or without a tent.
