Please, help!

When sending a copy of an original I-129F to a fiance, do I need to send originals of the supporting evidence (tickets, hotel receipts, etc.), or copies will suffy?

I am afraid that they will get lost in mail and then I won't have the originals. Whoever filed for a fiance in Ukraine or knows the answer to this, I will appreciate your help.

Or, can you notarize the copies of evidence? It sounds funny to me, I don't know if it's possible.

Send copies. Technically they can request that the originals of any copy submitted be available at interview, so perhaps ensure that the foreign fiance(e) has them at that time.

The initial mystery that attends any journey is: how did the traveller reach his starting point in the first place?

I sent copies when I filed for K1. Now I am approved, and my dillemma is whether to send the originals to my fiance so he has it at the interview, or keep them in case the copies will get lost and I can make other copies.

I followed the guidelines that are here on this website. It includes a form that you sign saying

that all copies are are not altered. I made 4 identiacal packets. 1 for the application. 1 for my fiance.

1 for myself, and 1 is an emergency spare.(the photocopier at work was really busy). After my

fiance receives his interview I will send him his packet and the originals and any additional

documentations requested. I strongly suggest you check out this sites guidelines because it

gives you a logical order and some good tips on how to put it all together even down to

what kind of clip to use to hold it all together.

Good luck

Neya
