Hello,

Does anyone know approximately how long it takes for the NVC to receive and acknowledge my Choice of Agent (DS3032) email? I sent it in to them on July 2 but I have yet to receive anything. AAARRRGH!

2008-01-30: I-130 Sent

2008-02-15: I-130 NOA1

2008-06-16: I-130 Approved (NOA2...still haven't received hard copy)

2008-06-26: NVC Received

2008-07-01: DS-3032 sent AOS Bill Generated

2008-07-02: Emailed DS-3032

2008-07-07: Received hard copy of NOA2

2008-07-10: Emailed NVC to Change Petitioner Address

2008-07-16: Received email from NVC, accept Choice of Agent

2008-07-??: Called NVC and got IIN number (still trying to get through to an agent!)

2008-07-??: PAID AOS Fee Online and IN PROCESS

You've e-mailed AND sent a hard copy? Give it a couple weeks...maybe to August 2, and then call, I suggest. We've just had a long holiday weekend, for one thing..

I'd also mail a hard copy with the same information just in case. That way - if they didn't get the email in a month they'll have a hard copy. I heard back from NVC in two weeks after sending an email.

I just called NVC and the lady told me it takes 10 to 15 days to process choice of agent email

Sept 15 2007 I-130 sent

Jan 4th 2008 NOA1 received

Feb 24 2008 File entered into system

May 06 2008 1st Touch

May 07 2008 2nd Touch

June 17 2008 Approval notice sent (update in email)

June 18 2008 Touch

June 25 2008 NVC Assigned case number

My first email to NVC regarding the receipt of my case was sent 07/01/08 and I received my response 07/15/08. My husband sent his choice of agent email on 07/04/08 and he has not received any correspondence but I think that they will be senting that information very soon. It may take up to 2-3 weeks for them to get the email and put in the info. Good luck

u will recieved an email from them 9 days from the date u submitted your choice of agent. the best way to know is to call the nvc and talk to an operator to give u more details if they already received ur choice of agent. goodluck.

I still did not receive an acknowledgement that they have received my husband's email. It is getting so irritating. They have received everything except that. They said that they are waiting for that so that they can send the IV bill to the agent. I hope something changes by Monday or Tuesday. At least you now received a response. Good luck
