i won a 4 day trip for 2 to cancun. i won a jalapeño eating contest. 27 in 60 seconds in the qualifier. 3 weeks later 39 in 60 seconds in the finals.....you don't wanna hear about the next day.

Well at my walmart they do drawings for the associate that spends up to $50 for groceries and puts their receipt in the box. Its a drawing done every 2 weeks and so far this year I have won 2 times. Its nice to get an extra $43 or so back from just shopping and putting in a receipt. Thank you Wal-Mart!

Actually, years ago I went on a ski weekend in Lake Tahoe. Just after we arrived, I was walking down the sidewalk and found a dollar token for the slots at Ceasars. So I took it as an omen.

I wnt to Ceasars and got $20 in change along with the one that I found. In 20 minutes of playing the slots I had won $1500. Then they came over to give me my money and they gave us tickets to a show also.

So I figured out how much the weekend was going to cost and put that money away to pay for the weekend and blew the rest on the craps tables.

The biggest win in my lifetime so far was a trip to Paris, France for two people, all expenses paid for a week (hotel, airfare), plus $2500 in spending money. Won it during my first year in university, and amid much protest I took my brother (who now owes me in perpetuity). We did have fun though
