Actually, I have no idea of your and Platy's internet 'relationship', cordial or not but that did seem a tad below the belt as apposed to humourous, but if you are taking it like a man, who am I to shoulder your burden of outrage?

I'm quite fond of AJ (in a platonic, manly way), and I'm sure he understood the reference and got a chuckle out of it.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

There's a degree of conceit in the idea that at the end of the world when everyones going to die, that a person would honestly care about what someone who doesn't like them thinks or has to say about them.

Wasting your last moments to get one over on someone isn't the sort mentality I'd want in my life.

Well, duh. Haven't you already figured out that I'm one of the most conceited people in existence? I'd have to say that we're all conceited. You, with your belief that your opinions and principles are True and Right, PH with her same beliefs, etc. To believe that the morals and opinions that you personally hold are the right ones is, by its very nature, conceited.

Same with those who think everything is all about them.

Imagine that scientists could prove that the world will really end in 2012, what would you do? Would you change your lifestyle?

yeah so i have read thru with the Asthec Calendar, it woul dbe indeed 2012.. but who knows.. ill say.. seized the day.. let my loved ones feel loved.. and make a difference in each day (too easy to say,but God's willing i hope i can do it)

no, I would not change a thing.

I have eradicated all of the poisonous ppl from my life, I have accomplished my educational pursuits, I have birthed and nurtured my children to best of my God given abilities, the remaining few ppl in my life are fully aware of where they stand in my life and I serve my Lord and Saviour to the best of my abilities. so, I'm good.

Yes - and there are people who set their clock by it. One guy I read about - sold his house and moved up to a cabin in the mountains with 6 months supply of canned food and all firearms he could get his hands on.

Apocalypse nuts have been around since the year dot. Only they don't wear those "The World is ending!" sandwich boards anymore...
