Hello all... :secret:

I notice that some April filers already had they "welcome letter", and few (or less) have a "interview letter". :dancing:

I remember once to read in some post that does not really matter if you are transfered or not because the approval for AOS happen almost in the same time...

Well, that is not so true...

someone that have NOA the same week I had is already approved :dancing: , but I don't even have a interview letter :protest: :protest:

...and when, sometime in the future, I receive my letter, for sure will not be in the next month...so... :sleepy:

Anyways...the wait time between one applicant and other become bigger also depending on your Local Office.

My for example, Seattle-WA...the last interview appointment (according with the imigration timelines) was for a applicant who filed in November and their interview will be next month!!!! :clock:

Plus, all records about Seattle in visajourney just show 1(one) transfer for California!!! :wow:

So, I think that now (after EAD and AP approved) is the time when people who are waiting AOS should select (in the imigration timeline) the Local Office for to have an idea about your case. Is what I will do... :reading:

(F) but for sure I will continue checking my friends from April filers and I will be happy anytime one of them have some good news.

Enjoy your week!

I enjoy my weeks a lot...cause I have the company of my love. :energy:

Hi ella...thanks...

actually you are one of my friend in april filers that I keep checking...like...I hope you have your EAD/AP soon also...same for others like Steph, etc..,

so, yes I have my EAD/AP approved already..the reason for me want to be approved for AOS before like others is that next month I would have an opportunity to visit Canada, and I don't have a visa for that...the visa, if I apply this week ...was not going to arrive until the time for this trip...so,..I just need to forget about ...

I hope you have good news this week!

Every case is different and local offices have different time line. Waiting since April really isn't a long time. The traditional waiting time is about 6 months for AOS and it increased last year. I waited 11 months for our interview notice.

While seeing what others get gives you an idea of what to expect it's always a bit different.

08.2006: Entered with a B-2 visa.

07.06.07: Civil Wedding

07.17.2008 AOS approved with interview. It took 367 Days!

11.08.08: Big family wedding

09.18.09-10.03.09: First trip to France with Hubby

I-751

04.19.10: Package sent to Vermont

04.21.10: Delivered in Vermont

04.22.10: NOA date

04.23.10: Check cashed

05.17.10: Received biometrics appointment letter

06.07.10: Biometrics Appointment

06.26.10: Touched

07.07.10: Card Production Ordered!

07.17.10: Card in the mail :) Done until citizenship

Rosie74, as far as I know EAD is approved at NBC, so it doesn't matter really what is your local office. It is important when it comes to the AOS interview - it looks like 4-5 months in Chicago, but it all depends. I feel it is almost like gambling.

Oh I didn't know that!

I thought the EAD was approved by the local office, which in my case it's still Chicago...

4-5 months for AOS interview in Chicago is really not bad.. I really hope that will be the case for us too! But you're right.. there are so many things that can go wrong that one can never tell how long it will take..

From what I see, not so true. Our AOS hasn't been touched since it arrived. We have EAD and AP though. There is no 'transfer' or anything like so many folks have here.

Our local Wash DC office date for I485s is Aug 2007. We have no information that our case was possibly transferred there. No date for I130s.

Any insight?
