Hi Guys!

I have question about ds-230... My husband is my Petitioner/Agent so he recieved the mail from NVC

requesting ds-230 forms .I submitted it, but the problem is we submitted a scan copy .

Can anyone say if NVC would accept it or not ? :help:

Yes they will as long as you have bar code and case # in it you wont be having any problem.

Sept. 9/08... SSA office to change status to "U.S. citizen"

Oct. 8/08... Applied in person for U.S. Passport

Oct. 22/08... U.S. Passport received

DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!! DONE!!!

Apr. 6/05... DS-230, Part I faxed to Vancouver Consulate

May 26/05... K-2 Interview - APPROVED!!!!

Sept. 5/05... Entered U.S.

Sept. 7/05... I-485 & I-131 sent to CLB

Feb. 22/06... AOS Interview - APPROVED!!!!! (Passport NOT stamped)

Dec. 4/07... I-751 sent to NSC

May 23/08... 10-Yr. PR Card arrives in the mail

Mar. 22/11.... N-400 sent to AZ

June 27/11..... Interview - PASSED!!!

July 12/11..... Oath Ceremony

sometimes missing documents or incorrect is due of false RFE. just wait 1 to 2 weeks. otherwise if theres missing documents they will let u know by mail. otherwise hang in there the automated voice respond will change once ur case completed. goodluck to u godbless. it took me 10 days before they changed my false RFE to case completed. :blush:

dont worry everything will be ok... just keep praying.

Interview Date: Sept 29, 2008 at USEM Manila 8:30AM APPROVED!!!

No problem.

Hey ! You were right NVC did accept scan copies of ds-230 :thumbs:

but requested missing documents.

An NVC rep told me that they do not accept scans of signatures. The DS-230 requires signatures. You might want to call NVC regarding this. Goodluck.

Yes police Clearance is one of the supporting documents.
