I'm not sure about Brazil but in Colombia the beneficiaries have to have a lab test done before going to their medical exam. At the exam they will check that they have all the needed shots which are varicella, TD and MMR. If they don't have them, they will give them to them, and they will take their weight and height. The one doctor who happens to be a male has all their patients undress, wear a robe and then he quickly checks their "privates", we're thinking to see if they're male or female. If not, then he's just a perv.

But that's pretty much it.

Thanks for the responses, I know about the travelstate.gov list of vaccinations but I guess what im trying to learn about is how things work at the exam. My wife has been told by the Dr in Rio De Janeiro that she can take her Xray and physical (breast cancer , I guess, and uterus exam) exam before she goes to the medical exam and to bring those with her. The only Vaccine that she needs to get now is the HPV vaccine, she will wait until she goes to Rio to get that because it is half the cost there than it is in her home town. She told me that she will go to her medical exam and they will tell her where to go to get the vaccine, so how does that work? She goes to get the vaccine then takes the proof back to the Dr and then they will complete her case after the results of her blood test ? She will have 4 days until her interview and I am wondering if that is enough time considering she will have to leave to get the vaccine and take the documents back.

go to the state.gov site and look up the physicians that administer the medical exams in your spouse country and send them an email directly with your questions. I did that, they replied with information and fees.
