I don't think he really meant to be that rude. Maybe. Regardless, don't suggest violence against my Wife (not girl).

I had a guy make the mistake of punching his Wife in front of me once. I mean he really hit her hard. It took 4 people to pull me off of him. I'm glad they did because I had him in a "lights out" situation. When I went to Court to testify against him he tried to pick a fight with me in the Courtroom! He was a real idiot.

Yet another reason why I maintain that if I never return to Saigon, it will be too soon. That seriously sucks, dude.

But of course I will return to Saigon, even though I truly despise that place. We have friends there.

I would biatchslap your girl for talking on the phone while riding a bike. That's illegal practice .

Why would you say that? I think it is also illegal to strike a woman not to mention just plain cowardly.

You know, I hate to jump on the bandwagon a little late, but what the hell.

This sort of comment is why I object so strongly to the rap/hip-hop culture. It has made comments like this seem acceptable at first blush in ordinary everyday conversation. No one would ever have thought that kind of comment was acceptable when I was a child.

I won't pick on just hiphop culture, either. Country music (of which I'm a fan) also tends to celebrate acting like a friggin' idiot too. And we won't even get into whatever the entertainment value of reality TV might be.

The human race constantly struggles to overcome its baser instincts. Often we are not successful.

I hope that no one thinks I am overreacting to a comment that maybe was intended mostly as a joke, but I feel strongly that if comments like this come to be seen as ordinary and acceptable, we become a little less human, little by little. I am not perfect by any means, and I have to struggle every day against my baser instincts as well, just like anyone else. I say all of this as a friend, not a preacher. Go in peace, brothers and sisters.

Thai aka Thai Pham blamed his SO for getting a Blue Slip, called her a dumb #######, ect. So it doesn't surprise me that he would say something like that.
