I still do not see a touch.... If as I was told it is on the way for adjudication and the officer was assigned, shouldn't I see a touch? Also after today's call?

Do touches appear same day, or next day after servers update?

Anyone knows?

My husband used to get different answers in a day talking to different reps on a simple question that he asked "has the file been assigned to an adjudicator?"

So, you may want to call to talk to another rep and ask the same question.

Not all calls get touches, if it does, usually the next day, for us.

The online status doesn't always reflect the status ironically. Our I-130 has been approved for a week now, we received no email, no status change. It still currently showing "RFE received and processing resumed".

Leah

Thanks for your info! I do hope that something really is happening with the file at last.. when I called it did sound like she tried to help and get the file, I was on hold over 10 minutes before she told me it is gone to adjudicator.

I will try calling again just to make sure.

About touches, it appears that we should not even worry, I was just hoping that a touch would actually be some kind of proof that the file was moved or touched.

I assume you found out about your approval over the phone? or when you received the hard copy NOA2 ?

We found out from the congress aide who followed up on our expedite request on the day the I-130 got approved (July 11). The NOA2 has just arrived today.

Leah

How can a person check to see if their case has been touched? Can someone post a link here? Thanks in advance and my internet time is very limited so I can't read for hours to find it. Thanks again

You need to sign up here with your USCIS receipt #.

Thanks a lot for your help. I realize your case is different because of the expedite, but still it helps.

I can only hope I am not being lied to, but who knows, with the government these days anything can happen, at least the officer's last name did not refer to private parts..

Early March filers, don't give up!!!! I just noticed an e-mail from CRIS that my I-130 was approved on July 17!!! This is good news for all the early March filers who were beginning to think we were left behind. Hopefully this signals that the rest of you will get approvals coming your way. The only touch I had before the approval was back on March 12th.

Congratulations ruriburi !

That is a good news, now we know they did not just misplace a batch of our files.

Strange but my yesterday's call did not result in a touch. Not that important I guess, as long as it moves in the right direction, to the adjudicator's desk.

Either that or files were misplaced, and found again.. and they started working on them to catch up. I can see that most April noa1s are done, while ours were just sitting there.

In any case, we hope they will get our cases approved very soon.

Nothing yet, but it's Monday. Yet another excuse I can see them using. I'd like to get a response soon but at this point if they do it by October that should technically catch us up to the processing time on the CSC processing time webpage. Hope for the best, plan for the worst.

Same here, but I do not think we will see a status update with approval, judging by the latest approvals. most were e-mail and mail approvals while status online remained unchanged. Again the system does not work the way it supposed to.

Just noticed in the timelines that BettyYRey got approval today, Jul.22... their NOA1 was March 10th..

this gives some hope that the rest of us will get news soon.

Yes I noticed BettyYRey's approval. Congratulations guys! Now lets see...their NOA1 was March 10, and both of ours were March 12...so if all is right with the world we should both have our NOA2s July 24. Watch me hold my breath for that. But its okay...my coworker said that if I don't get my approval by the end of the week she's making me a cheesecake so I'll feel better, so come Friday I'll be happy either way! lol
