NVC...Not receiving the case...??

My case was approved on MAY 1st, 2006..and i have called the NVC just right now...after 2 weeks..and they are still saying that they have not received the case yet...Has this happen to anyone else??? Please some input would really help...Thank you...

Mine was approved april 13th... and i STILL dont have anything.

They say 2-4 weeks when you call the NVC... and it also says that on the NOA2.

But when you call they say 2-4 weeks and then say it can take up to 90 days.

Then I was told today another 2-4 weeks until my consulate receives it.

Mine took two weeks to get there. I believe there is a back log at the moment due to IMBRA so things are taking longer than usual to get on to their system

It happens a lot ilovealini4ever.

They were saying htey hadnt got ours for 3 weeks..then I got an email saying it had gone to London - and that date was DURING the time they said they hadn't got it

I don't think their computer records get updated very regularly - ie, when they get it, just when it leaves - annoying yes but not much we can do about it. Id rather they did it and it went than they spent hours just updating records.

yep Almost 3 weeks now and we are still sitting in the limbo... so I guess some SC are faster than others when it comes to sent the papers to NVC.

At least you got through. I've been trying to call for two days and I keep getting the 'all ops are busy, please try your call again later'. I know with getting our NOA2 on May 8th it's probably not there yet but I have a compulsion to check anyway. I can't help it!

Have you tried to call them ? and if so... what did they say ?

I called NVC, USCIS, spoke with an immigration officer, and this is what they said. NVC: We don't have your papers so we can't tell you where they are. USCIS: we sent them to the NVC. Immigration officer: NVC should have them.

so............... i give up.

Man.. that sucks ..I haven't tried to ask USCIS to see when and if they sent it to NVC. I guess I will try that...

Did the USCIS say when they sent the case to NVC ?

I don't want to discourage anyone, but our NOA 2 was MARCH 20, 2006 and hasn't reached the NVC yet
