:help: ... My husband and I went to the SS office a few weeks after our marriage to apply for my SSN instead of using my married name i used my unmarried name in the application..but when the office staff checked the records he told us that my name in homeland is different I mean they had omitted one letter..Now while waiting for the respense from the SS office we are now ready to file my AOS... Can I use my husband last name in the forms even though i used my unmarried name in applying for the SSN..

I hope you can help me... Thank you...

This is an AOS question and should NOT be in IR-1/CR-1 forum, this forum is for IMMIGRANT visas for spouse.

Yes :yes: You can use married name on I-485, I-765, and G-325A, even though SSA was applied for in maiden name.
