Hi guys...I filed I-130 about two months ago and i have been thinking about filing for the k-3 visa because VSC looks to be really slow and I am not sure how much longer it will take just to wait for the I-130. My question is if my wife comes here on a k-3, would she be able to attend school? How long would it take for her to get the green card after she come to the US. Thanks in advance for all the responses. Appreciate it.

Attending school is up to the college or university, check with their admissions requirements. NOTE, most state sponsored schools WILL charge non-resident rates.

As for how long it takes to get green-card, I can take as short as 4 months, and as long as 2 years or MORE.

Note, CR-1 or IR-1 (I-130 ONLY) get green-card upon entry, NO hassling with filing I-485 and paying $1010 to adjust status.

Compare K-3 and CR-1 and you will find CR-1 takes only a bit longer to get.
