ASKING FOR SOME GUIDE FOR THE CFO

before i forget! ive been reviewing things for this fiance visa application and almost forgetting that CFO after the interview

gggeesshh.. i read a few posts about it but im lost, having no specific guidance for this seminar like:

where is it really held? i read one here who went to citigold then was told that he has to go PRISM cus the seminar is no longer held there at citigold, then from there he went back to citigold again! (what?!) ...

is this a day? or DAYS of seminar?

how much will it cost me?

required things to bring?

can i only attend once i have my visa?

oh pls pls VJ friends help me..im so lost on this

anybody who recently had a seminar? or somebody here already got a to do list for cfo seminar..could u share ur credible infos? thnx!!! im from fairview quezon city, maybe there are some beneficiaries here too, close to my area maybe we can go together.

Step 1:

You will chose kung san mo gusto mag seminar, kung sa St. Mary's ba or sa PRISM. I went to PRISM. Seminar lasted for not more than 2 hours.

Step 2:

You will pay fee sa PRISM or sa St. Mary's, sa fee hindi ko sure kaseh last year pa ako nagkuha ng CFO.

Step 3:

They will issye (PRISM or St. MAry) a certificate that you underwent seminar. yung sa PRISM kulay yellow sya.

Step 4:

Punta ka na sa CFO main office located at Quirino, dapat dala mo yung certification either from St. Mary or PRISM. May babayaran ka na naman dun na fee (Php 400.00 kung first time, Php 800 kapag renewal)

Step 5:

Hintay ka lang na ma call name mu then they will issue the green na certificate na may tatak na CFO, this is your way para matatakan ang passport mo.

It can happen within a day, depends kung maagap kang pupunta sa PRISM or sa St. Mary. I heard na mas kaakunti sa PRISM so mas maganda kung sa PRISM ka pupunta.

Anyway heto yung requirements na nakasulat nung natanggap ko ang VISA ko, requirement ito para sa first time na kukuha

Requirements

Original valid passport

Original and Photocopy of VISA

One passport size photograph

One valid ID with photograph

Original and photocopy of Immigration Data Summary (not applicable for K visa holders)

Photocopy of Employement contract (for immigrant workers)

Duly completed registration form (www.cfo.gov.ph)

Payment of 400.00 registration fee, and

Attendance in the PDOS of peer counselling session (heto na nga yung St. Mary or PRISM)

You're welcome, ahh it's the same process pa din. I am not sure about the fee kung ganun pa din.

I went CFO seminar last year -June 13, 2007 sa PRISM then the same date ko nakuha yung green cert sa CFO main.

Kumuha ako last year kaseh requirement din sya for VISA sa Korean Embassy. Yun nga lang di na ako nagpatatak coz hindi naman ako Immigrant sa Korea, visiting lang....

Ngayon nga eh natanggap ko na ang Immigrant VISA ko for United States, renewal fee ng CFO is Php800! Grabeh nakakainis nga..ang mahal!

I went CFO seminar last year -June 13, 2007 sa PRISM then the same date ko nakuha yung green cert sa CFO main.

Kumuha ako last year kaseh requirement din sya for VISA sa Korean Embassy. Yun nga lang di na ako nagpatatak coz hindi naman ako Immigrant sa Korea, visiting lang....

Ngayon nga eh natanggap ko na ang Immigrant VISA ko for United States, renewal fee ng CFO is Php800! Grabeh nakakainis nga..ang mahal!

yeah, di ko din alam where ito makikita..pero pagka receive mo kaseh ng VISA mo eh may instructions kasama duon, kasama nung yellow envelop na may Warning...andun nakalagay about CFO saka pagkuha ng SSN. If you like scan ko then send ko sayu copy...PM mo ako if anong YM mo or e-mail.

My fiance did her CFO the same day as the Interview at the USEM, we went to St. Marys, you can ride a rail train right to it.

Her CFO took about 2 hours.

Next day we hooked it out of Manila, and headed back to Davao.

o sige send ko email ko sayo ha..kase i jus wana make sure about this cfo seminar..so theres an instruction about it together with the visa.oh i see now..sige id like to see a scanned copy of it

YOU CAN GO TO PRISM AS "WALK-IN". NO NEED TO REGISTER OR INFORM THEM, JUST BE SURE TO BE THERE EARLY SO YOU CAN GET DONE WITH CFO AT THE SAME TIME.
