Hello, my husband took his medical 2 weeks ago but was not permitted for the medical results to be released because they requested for him to get a new passport..He came yesterday to bring the new passport and also for the release of documents. FRom my understanding, St lukes keep the passport and forward it to the embassy together with the results but my husband just informed me that he was given a sealed envelope with a note outside to do not open and to be open only by U.S. consul..and was instructed to bring it at the interview....passport was also returned to him...

he informed me thAT they were doing the same to everyone that is there at ST lukes..is this a normal? is this a new procedure????

when they keep to passport, and gave him the xray film and the vaccination sheet.. He has no problem.. yeah they will be the one to forward the passpor to the USEM.. DOnt worry this is normal,, and the brown envelope that they are talking about is to be delivered with the VISA andthe uSEM will be the one to deliver it. Goood Luck on your iunterview..

My husband was given an envelope by St Lukes and they placed a note in the envelope that only U.S. consul can open it.The vaccination and xray were also release to him.... Yes, thats a normal procedure too... I met one visa applicant there in USEM during my interview with the same situation with your husband, just tell him not to open the envelope and bring all all the requirements. Everything will ok so nothing to worry.. Good luck and God bless

Yes, thats a normal procedure too... I met one visa applicant there in USEM during my interview with the same situation with your husband, just tell him not to open the envelope and bring all all the requirements. Everything will ok so nothing to worry.. Good luck and God bless
