how long does it take for the Irs to deliver transcripts?

my interview is scheduled august 4 and my husband requested for his irs transcripts tuesday last week. express international delivery would take 4-7 business days. i'm not sure if it can make in time for my interview. do u guys think i should postpone my interview at a later date ? im not sure how long it would take Irs to deliver the transcripts. thanks guys! =)

I think he will get them this week....took I think 10 days for mine to arrive :-) He could also ask them to fax them to him. :-)

I ordered mine by phone on a Monday and just over a week later (on Wednesday) they arrived.

I ordered mine via phone and they never arrived.

I then called them about 3 weeks later and they faxed them to me while I waited on the phone.

I just ordered mine and they told me 7-10 days, including weekends.

You husband can send them in the mail to you via usps (united states postal service) but fedex will deleiver them. The service is called Global Express Guaranteed® (GXG). I just sent some docs to my wife in Bulacan and it cost me 38 bucks and she had them in 3 days (2 days her time). I sent them Friday afternoon my time and she had them Monday morning her time.

Fedex UPS and DHL are experiencing the gas crunch and the prices are going through the roof. This is the cheapest option I have found. He might beable to scan them and email them and you could print them. Maybe even fax them. You would have to check with others if copies are ok though.

omg rmncm! you're a lifesaver! I googled Global Express Guaranteed and found it! wow.. i thought we only had one option (fed ex express international delivery which takes 4-7 business days).

nevertheless, i'll call the embassy tomorrow to see if verify if they accept photocopied documents. from what other VJ members have told me, it's always best to bring the original because they might slap me with an RFE. but just in case, i'll ask hubby to email it anyway. =) thanks so much!
