How long after delivery did it take for you to get your energy back? At this point, if I could just find a comfortable position to lay down, I could literally collapse for 20 hours.

I'm still waiting.

in the meantime, anytime I stop moving I fall asleep. My husband and/or son regularly find me asleep sitting in the easy chair with the baby in my lap.

Wow.....the last comfortable sleep I had was when I was 18 weeks pregnant right before my Amnio! So I guess I will become a permanent zombie?

VJ Hours - I am available M-F from 10am - 5pm PST. I will occasionaly put in some OT for a fairly good poo slinging thread or a donut.

you might get lucky though. ayah's a peach when it comes to feeding and sleeping, and always has been. there's no way i'd be able to work though. do you get to take a long time off work? ayah's 6 weeks old, and it still feels like we're getting to know each other. we'd miss each other way too much if i had to be any further away from her than the next room.

She is just adorable....

Well I am being placed on leave starting August 1st (4 weeks before) and I get a minimum of 6 weeks after the birth but its up to my Dr if she wants to extend my leave. I also have the option to take an additional 12 weeks after my disability is over. I'm gonna play it by ear. I'm very thankful that my mom retired last month and is going to stay home to take care of her when I do go back to work.

oh that is great, that leaving them here and there is so stressful hard to find someone to trust anymore, never the less the expense. Helps you to feel relaxed and can do your work when necessary. Not fun going to work and they are running to the door after you

Yeah exactly...I also have the option to work from home a couple days a week which is also nice. I told my manager that I will be taking my disability and then I will work from home for 6 weeks after that so I can continue to breast feed. I reallllly dont want to take a pump to work.

i gained 5lbs since last week :crying: doc told me to work on doing a 15 minute as my first goal. yuccccccccccck

So what are you going to do 15 minutes of Amal? I joined the gym last week and have been there every day so far. It's between home and school so kind of hard to say, it's too far or out of the way..took care of all my excuses!!

Brnid: YOu are too funny with your comment about the first full night of sleep coming in 18 years, but it's so true.

I"ll do the second option. lol. I mean obviously if I"m going to get the makeover I'll end up buying product so why not just buy the product anyways. I'll call them after my meeting. Thanks!

My favorite nailpolish is black cherry :) Seriously, go buy black polish for them and then if they even put it on then tell every one of their friends every time you see them about how you bought that black polish for them and how cute you think it is! Get the rebellion to go the other way.

I wonder if my parents thought this about my dark lipstick and my black cherry nailpolish? :) I'm over lipstick now, though, I got lipgloss!

Also, bare essentials is way awesome. covers lots of flaws.
