I have looked for support/personal advice from some VJ members....but only through PM's.

Same here...although I did ask for advice in the Canada Forum once. That's the ONLY place I would publicly ask for advice and it wasn't a marital or financial issue. I received the utmost respect too. :) Speaking of respect, I think respect is due in other places on VJ but considering how things generally go here...it ain't gonna happen.
