I'd say even if someone posts a personal thread about a serious issue and they were a bit tactless - perhaps they made it too personal, they still deserve respect. I agree that this isn't the place to solve relationship issues, but it can and should be a place where members can find someone who'll lend them an ear, or just let them vent.

So let me get this straight, one can post a personal struggle bashing their spouse, and VJers should be tactful?

Is it tactful to can openly discuss an affair on VJ as well? Or domestic violence? Or your sex life?

There is one group that seems to always complain about there spouses and they get extremely angry if anyone dissagrees with them. I know they are looking for validation for their feelings but I agree a public forum is not the place to do this. I know I would feel extreme disrespect and dissapointment if my spouse was telling the world that we had problems or how much they hate certain things about me.

Yeah, it kind of reminds me of a certain member that whines about how all american woman are evil and how he is perfect. Kind of strange isn't it?
