Y sigo con la preguntadera....... he leido que tambien te envian notificaciones via e-mail, es cierto eso? y que envian , el NOA1 el NOA2 o que cosa? alguien tiene alguna experiencia en esto? graciass!!

El NOA1 sólo llega la notifiación por correo físico, no mandan notificación por e-mail. El NOA2 llega por e-mail al peticionario y llega también el "notice" que creo que es el I-797 ese hay que guardarlo muy bien porque hay que presentarlo para el AOS y si se pierde la reposición cuesta como $350.00

Cuando ya tengás tu NOA1 vas a hacer tu usuario en el website del USCIS y cuando esté aprobado podés verlo ahí también.

Mi Mami va a mandarme todo lo que necesitare para la entrevista, pero cuesta $70 cada vez me manda algo, asi quiero mandar todo en un solo paquete. Necesito el NOA2 y el I-797 para la entrevista? Hola Skyler, I don´t think that your fiance will need to bring the actual NOA2 to the interview. It was not listed as s requier document on the letter that I recevied from the embassy on the packet 3. Just to be on the safe side, my GF faxed me the NOA1 and NOA2 which I will take to the interview. Perhaps more experienced VJ members can elaborate on this issue.

Es caro mandar documentos a El Salvador, estoy esperando un paquete con documentos que mi novia me envio por USPS el 12 de Julio y todavia no los he recibido. Ella los queria mandar por DHL pero la persuadi de que utilizara el US postal Service. Les informo cuando reciba estos documentos solo para que tengan una idea de cuanto tiempo lleva.

Si, es cierto que cuesta mucho dinero mandar documentos a El Salvador, pero cuanto pagaste para usar USPS? Porque hable con una amiga aca que me dijo que ella tambien uso USPS y duro 3 meses a recibir los documentos!! Y ella pago $50. Por eso yo uso UPS or FedEx. Cuesta $70 cada paquete, $20 mas, pero creo que vale la pena, porque llega en 3-5 dias.

Lo que llamamos en VJ NOA2, en realidad se llama I-797 Notice of Action, que es la notificación de la aprobación de la petición.

El NOA2 (I-797) Vas a necesitarlo en original para cuando apliquen para el AOS (Adjustment of Status) después de haberse casado en U.S.A. Para la entrevista en El Salvador, no lo necesitás, la Embajada tiene copia de todo tu file. Pero sería bueno que tuvieras una copia contigo por cualquier cosa, talvez tu mamá lo puede escanear y mandártelo por email.

Ah-Hah!!! Thanks! I didn't know it was the NOA2. So it sounds like it will be much better to have my mm fax me a copy, but SAVE the original NOA2 (I-797) in the States since that is where we will be doing the AOS. It would probably be safe coming here through FedEx, but if it's unnecessary, much better to leave it safe at home in a drawer, and save the money.

Hola a todos, que alegria ver que el foro sigue creciendo, esa era la idea desde el principio y me siento afortunada al ser una de las que obtiene ayuda,porque me imagino que muchos antes de mi no tuvieron esa suerte, y gracias por el detalle de que si se pierde el noa2 cuesta tan poquito reponerlo, jajajajaa, asi que a cuidarlo muy bien (cuando llegueeeeeeeeee) que me volvere anciana creo primero, en fin, paciencia es el lema de aqui, tengo otra pregunta, me dicen que el cheque que mando mi novio cuando hiso la peticion al momento de cambiarlo el puede ver el numero de caso alli, pero el otro dia estaba leyendo que dice que el cheque nunca se lo mandan a el de regreso ya cobrado, que ellos lo convierten (uscis) en fondos electronicos y que destruyen el cheque, que hay de cierto alguien sabe? porque aqui en Guate depende el banco donde tengas tu cuenta, puedes ver online cualquier cheque emitido por ambos lados, o sea se ve hasta la firma y numero de cedula de quien lo cobro, sera asi alla? pero si el cheque lo destruyen como entonces????? ay nooo que locura todo esto!!!!!

Well, I sent a money order from down here, so I don't know for sure, but when I was banking in the States I could look up any check online through my credit union and see both sides of the check. I assume that is how it is done. But it only works with a personal check, not a money order or check made out from another bank. How did you pay, Jokalu?

Pues, yo mande un money order de aca, entonces no estoy segura, pero cuando tenia mi cuenta de credit union en EUA podia ver los dos lados de cada cheque en la paquina de web (de mi credit union). Pero, este manera solomente sirve si usa un cueque personal y no sirve con un money order o otro tipo de cheque. Como pagaste, Jokalu?

Exacto! Tu novio lo puede ver en el website de su banco, una versión online del cheque cambiado y el número del caso estará anotado en el cheque.

VONAGE SYSTEM: I am posting part of an email that my girlfriend received from her friend regarding which would be the cheapest way for phone calls between El Salvador and the US, I would like to share it with you and open a discussion on ways to communicate, costs and so on:

¨The cheapest way I have found to do it is thru Vonage. Hopfully the person in El Salvador has an internet connection similiar to the one you had in El Salvador. Then you would order the vonage box, select the area code and number of your choice, most likely the same area code that you live in, send them the box in El Sal, they would hook it to there computer and you would be able to call them for free from your house since it's the same area code, and they would be able to call you for free as well since Vonage has unlimited calls from the US to the US, and the phone in El Sal appears as a US number since it has the NY area code assigned to it. The phone will only ring when the computer is on, but it takes messages all the time, whether the computer is on or off, you also get a email whenever somebody leaves a voice mail. So this setup would cost you $26 per month. But the box would be in El Salvador and they need a good internet connection for it http://www.vonage.com. Anyway that's one way to do it, that's the setup I have now and it works great. I call El Sal almost every day. What are you paying a minute now for long distance to El Sal? Hola a todos, les cuento que al fin cambiaron el cheque, lo tienen desde el 9 de julio y hasta hoy, cuanto tardaran en enviar el NOA1 ??? y dice mi novio que no puede ver que no le aparecen las caras del cheque, asi que tendremos que esperar que llegue por correo fisico, ni modo, ya nos embarcamosssss!!!!!!

Hola yo de nuevo, resulta que encontro como ver el cheque ( jajajajaja) pero ahora me llama y me sale con que hay un monton de numeros, la cosa es que hay uno que empieza con ALC seguido del signo de numeral que por cierto no me saleeeee, alguien sabe como sacarlo porq ya le di shift y tecla 2 pero no sale eso, y este signo viene seguido de 4 numeros,la letra G (sera de guate) y 3 numeros mas, la cosa es que dice en la pagina de la uscis que son 13 numeros, a mi no me salen las cuentas, el dice que hasta con lupa y el zoom a 400 vio los numeros y que no hay mas, igual no esta en la casa ahora para revisar, pero la pregunta seria si encuentra un numero mas serian 13 incluidas las 3 letras mas el signo de numeral, que supongo se ingresa verdad? alguien me ayuda??

Si el cheque ya fue cambiado significa que dentro de poco recibiras la carta con el NOA1 y te daran tu numero de recibo. Que buena noticia.
