Hi my friends. My interview was last Thursday, I was told that my passport will be sent via Gagro Expreso.

I called Cargo Expreso this morning and they told me that the embassy delivers the passport after 15 days of the interview.

As you can see, I am a bit disappointed with the news. I was not expecting this.

Hola sin pisto:

We received our visa in 4 working days, don't pay too much attention on what they said, keep on calling cargo express they'll update you on a daily basis about the status of your visa delivery. By the way Congratulations!!! I'm happy everything went smooth at the interview.

Abby

Hello and thank you Pcana, I am very happy and I know that I need to have a little patience now.

I am glad to hear this. I will certainly keep calling Cargo Expreso everyday. I am waiting to have my passport in hand to book my flight. Today I resigned from my job. In my private office I am not scheduling new appointments and I am referring my clients to other colleagues on my field. I already contacted the landlord of my house and made arraignments to return the keys for this coming Saturday. I have packed my suitcases, and I have sold my household supplies. My mind and heart is set to leave El Salvador and beginning the new life phase at this time. Sure, I can wait a few more days, I will use this time to get everything ready.

Seguiré llamando a Cargo Expreso diariamente.

Gracias Jokalu, Consuelo y yo apreciamos tu apoyo y entusiasmo. By the way Skyler, are you back from the trip from Honduras?

Hola Jokalu, Consuelo and I appreciate your support and enthusiasm. We will carefully follow your process, as well as Skyler and the other members of this forum.

I am now getting ready for my coming trip with the help of my family and close friends.

Regarding Eros, he is wagging his tale, paying an attentive gaze, sticking his ears our like a Doberman I can only imagine the he expects from his masters a warm cover, especially after playing catch the ball on the snow.

Greetings Jokaly and keep up that enthusiasm.

Hello TBoneTX, TX is for Texas I suppose!

Thanks man it was a good interview, a good omen!

As for writing in English, it makes total sense and no much effort. When I read my posts I realize the mistakes I make on both languages but more when I write in English. I enjoy writing in English and I improve as I do it.

You guess correctly!

Glad that SOMEONE had a good interview.

Your English is quite passable. Perfect practice makes perfect. Honestly, I don't know how anyone ever learns English as a second language -- every time there seems to be a consistent rule of grammar, spelling, pronunciation, etc., there's an exception. It would drive me loco, si man.

Hi everyone, yes I got back from my wonderful vacations!! I didn't want to come back from the Caribbean coast. I ate fried fish, coconut bread, snail soup with coconut milk, everything with coconut, hahaha, it was delicious! And we saw dolphins swimming in the ocean! We also went to Copan and saw the ruins but I had to pay the foreigner rate even though I have lived in El Salvador for a year and a half and even have my Salvadoran ID, so I got mad, "I'm Salvadorean now!" I told them, hahaha. But they didn't care. Copan is beautiful and a little like Antigua, Guate, but smaller. And we made hotel reservations, thanks for your reccomendation Jokalu, there were a lot of people.

I just finished reading the whole forum, and Sinpisto you almost have your visa in hand! Congrats and it's true what Jokalu said, don't forget us here on this forum when you get over there. We want to know how everything is going and also with the AOS.
