That's what i have been hearing: some people thought marriage certificate will do, but it didn't work... Do you know anybody who actually went through and just marriage certificate worked?

I know that going to/from Russia it's not a problem. Take your marriage certificate, and have your airline ticket in the name on your Ukrainian passport.

Also this may not be the best forum category for posting this question.

What's wrong with several postings????? and why are you moving them???? Could have left at least one...

posts get moved when they are placed in a forum they have no relevance to the forum topic...

For example, your question has nothing to do with citizenship, removing conditions, K-1 visa or adjustment of status

YMMV

I did give you a possible solution but apparently with so many posts you can't find it...

Since you are seeking a travel related question specific to Ukraine, maybe the regional forum would be have also been good.

YMMV

My wife is there right now with the same situation. Her cousin has travelled in and out of Ukraine for 5 years with the same situation. It is called VIP departure service.

Is it like a special room in the airport where you pay money and get in it???

did your wife get stuck there or she is just still visiting???

Were tickets on married name or it is not important?

The same situation is that the greencard and passport have different names not STUCK.

Tickets need be in the name on your passport

Yes, it is where you pay a service fee for special handling.

YMMV
