Hello, everybody:

Haven't been here for a while, got a a question about mother's B2 visa.

I want to invite her to visit me this month. since I want to invite her per myself, not per my husband and I. I was wondering if I need to submit my husband's information? (he's citizen), such as his birth certificate and our marriage certificate and so on....

Also do I need to attach my tax report?

My mother's visa was denied 3 times for the past years, :crying: 05 twice, 06 once... seems because of I was in temporary green card, this year want to try again, wonder if I attach round trip air tickets, if that would be help?

Thanks a lot for all your help.

She applies on her own merits, which you have not mentioned.

Unlikely your status was the sgnificant reason.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

The fact that your husband is a US citizen does not help one bit. The US Embassy is only concerned about whether she has enough reason to come back to her country after her visit. What reasons does she have to come back? A good job? Enough money in her bank account? Property in her name? A business? Other children or parents she needs to take care of?

You can also write her a letter of invitation saying that you will cover all costs of her travel but it will not guarrantee her a visa.
