This is very complicated. I'm in Holland, my fiance in America. He works from 5 in the morning till sometimes 10 at night.. to make money for us, but he has to make the first step of getting the I-129. Here's my questions:

Do you have to go to the office to get the petition or is there another way, and do you have to go to the nearest USCIS center? After he fills it out, where do you send it to? As soon as he does that, I'm gonna be doing the next paperwork right? will I be noticed? I'm just wondering how much he's going to have to do in the first step, since he works a lot. Thank you

Tessa,

All the forms can be obtained from USCIS website. He will need to spend some time putting your package together. You will have to get signed form G-325 plus your letter of intent to him. I made my fiance's life a bit easier by filling my half of I-129, G-325a, writing the letter of how we met, both of our letters of intent and cover letter for the package. So you can do the same if you wish and mail it to him ASAP. And Rebeccajo is right, read the guides first!!!

Best of luck,

Ana

Don't have him file an I-129. It's an I-129F.

Start with the guides. There's really nothing very complicated about long work hours and a time difference. It's pretty much an every day everybody thing here.
