Household income: Part 24 of I-864

Hi,

I search through old thread but couldn't find an answer to my question.

We have our interview coming up are are updating our I-864.

My husband, the US Citizen annual income is above the poverty limit.

I have been working since Oct 07 and we filed our taxes together.

What I'm wondering is: since he already makes above the poverty should we add my income in part 6 question 24 or not?

A few more information: on the current individual annual income, Question 23, Part 6 we put the estimate of what he will be making this year. That amount is what is employer listed on the letter of employment.

My thoughts right now are: the I-864 is about proving that the petitioner can support the foreign spouse so since he makes enough, information about my income is not necessary.

Am I thinking wrong? Do they want to know the annual household income?

I plan to bring my paychecks with me non the less to the interview. If I puy my income on the I-864 do I need an employment letter as well?

Can anyone who did the I-864 after filing jointly for taxes advise me on the above question? I have a doubt on it so I'd rather ask.
