 Guys and gals!!Need your help once again. We are preparing the I 134 and we came accross to the following questions that confused us..

Q.3 This affidavit is executed on behalf of the ff person:

Fiance will put my name on it...

Name of spouse and children accompanying or ff to join?

Is this the place where we putt my son's name since he will go with me??????

Q.8...The ff person are dependent upon me for support.place an x in the appropriate column to indicate whether partially or wholly?

Does this applies to us?Does he needs to put our name here?????

My fiance is in Iraq, can he have it notarized on a military notary public there?

Thanks

question 3. yes, he would put your son's name.

question 8 no, he does not need to put your or your son's name.

he should be able to use the military notary in Iraq.

really not a right or wrong answer for this question. I put " all expenses as needed". others have used the VJ example

" N/A ( K-1 Visa for permanent residence.)

As long as both applicants are named in the I-134 affidavit of support, a single copy will suffice.

Subject: affidavit of support

Case number MNL2006XXXXXX

Yasmin XXXXXXXX will be applying for a K-1 visa and her daughter Effie a K-2 visa. Do I need to submit a separate I-134 Affidavit of Support for each of their application?

Regards,

Roy XXXXXXXXXXX

still, since it's easy to prepare, I provided a separate I-134 for my daughter, just to be safe.

Roy has given you :thumbs::thumbs: answers...

I asked the same "would i need 3 affidavit of support for me and my 2 kids" question before and Roy and others have told me I don't need 3 but since it made me feel more secure, Ricky (my fiance) sent me 3 notarized I-134.... I handed all 3 to the prescreener but she returned the 2copies and only kept 1.... That said, you don't need 2 copies but if it will make you feel more confident then you can bring 2.

Here is the VJ I-134 example form: http://www.visajourney.com/examples/Form-I-134.pdf

I followed most of the answers there.

Good luck to you and God bless always.

Thanks ROYn RAZI and Dbears..

I will just have to go for 2 I 134..It makes me feel secure..Better have it just in case...

Still confused though about the notary public,It says on the instruction

........If you are outside US the affidavit must be sworn to or notice affirmed before a US consular immigration officer..

ROy n razi have given me a good info that we could use the military notary public in IRAQ.However the instruction somehow confuses me.Just want to hear from other members here who had the same situation as mine as far as notarization is concern..

Please enlighten me..thanks once again

hopefully someone can provide you with a definative answer. I'm not 100% sure, but do think Military Personal can use Military Notary.
