Hi everyone. We were touched on 7/9/08. No touches, changes in status, or e-mails since. Has this happened to anyone else? We made no enquiries, calls, nor had anyone else do so. At first we were very excited, and now we just don't know what to think.

It could be someone worked the case or it could be someone moved it, touches really arent reliable sources but make us glad to know at least someone touched it. Some get totally okd without ever showing a touch, so dont worry.

I noticed we got a touch on our K1 the evening (10pm) before the status changed to Petition Approved thing (1:10am). So it could mean you might get some action of some sort on your case very soon, or it could be just a transfer between service stations or to the adjudicator's desk, etc. Like the other person said, not exactly reliable, but still of note.

Looking at your timeline and the NOA2s that CSC has been churning out lately, it could be your turn!!

But then, if you look at our timeline, we were touched left, right and center before the approval!!

10/04 Applied for SSN in married name.

11/11 Welcome notice received (dated 11/04)

11/15 Received Green card.

11/21 2nd Welcome notice received (dated 11/13)

11/24 Received SS card in maiden name.
