Thanks everyone, I am happy to be back but of course am now missing Govi so much, again :crying: - PLEASE VSC GET MOVING!!!!

The trip was amazing despite the political problems and 11 days of bandha - we saw some beautiful places that I had never seen on my earlier trips to Nepal. The Annapurna area was the best though - we stayed at a place called Tatopani(the name means 'hot water' because there is a hot spring there) and we wished we had spent our honeymoon there instead of Chitwan. We had the most wonderful time and yes, Eileen, it was very romantic - the benefit of off-season trekking is for much of the time you have the trail to yourself with no other people around for miles... ;)

I am sitting here in my sweltering NYC apartment wishing I were back in Sundarijal with Govi, dipping our feet in the river and enjoying the 'mitho hawa' - aaahhhh...... (L)
